iFLY fly customers of all abilities at any time. iFLY is now also providing dedicated all abilities events on the 1st Thursday of every quarter at Manchester, Basingstoke, Milton Keynes and London O2 arena.

All Abilities sessions include:

  • Proper accommodations based on specific challenges.

  • Additional assistance and attention during orientation, putting on a flight suit and helmet, etc.

  • A highly-trained, world-class iFLY instructor.

There are also multiple wind tunnels in Europe that offer people will all abilities to fly. This includes some tunnels that host Competitions specifically for flyers with disabilities (known as the Handifly race). INDOOR SKYDIVING COMPETITIONS

Handifly Race 2025 and World Indoor World Cup 2026

A Circuit of six international Indoor Skydiving competitions dedicated to para-athletes:

  • Stage 1 - Great Britain - at Weembi Lille

  • Stage 2 - Czech Republic - at Hurricane Factory Prague including the Czech National Championships

  • Stage 3 - Belgium - at Airspace Charleroi including the Belgian National Championships

  • Stage 4 - Germany - at Jochen Schweizer Arena Munich including the German National Championships

  • Stage 5 - Italy - at Aero Gravity Milan including the Italian National Championships

  • Final Stage - France - at Zero Gravity Poitiers including the French National Championships

The nonprofit Windtunnel Handifly Project works tirelessly to promote that facet of the sport, offering 9,000 “discovery flights” free of charge for disabled people in 20 participating wind tunnels across Europe.

The initiative, spearheaded by the French Federation of Parachuting (FFP), has allowed over 1,000 disabled individuals from 30 nations to experience the miracle of bodyflight, learning to fly regardless of their disability, whether it’s hypertonia, ataxia, athetosis, blindness, or something else. The project’s stated goal is “mass development of wind tunnel flight all around the world for people with disabilities” (you can learn more on the wind tunnel Handifly Website)

Indoor Para Skydiving - An official FAI ISC discipline

At the 75th FAI ISC Plenary meeting it was agreed to recognize Indoor Para Skydiving (IPS) as an official FAI ISC discipline and will be part of the 2026 World Cup in Indoor Skydiving which will be held in France.
